Upland Software issues Q1, FY'18 guidance

Upland Software Inc. has provided guidance for the first quarter and full year of 2018, while reporting its fourth-quarter and full-year 2017 results.

For the first quarter, the company expects to report total revenue of between $29.6 million and $30.6 million, including subscription and support revenue of $26.4 million to $27.2 million. Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter is projected to range from $9.9 million to $10.5 million.

Upland expects to post full-year 2018 total revenue of $120.4 million to $124.4 million, including subscription and support revenue of $107.8 million to $111.0 million. Adjusted EBITDA for the year is expected to be $42.0 million to $44.0 million.

The company posted fourth-quarter 2017 non-GAAP net income of $7.6 million, or 37 cents per share, compared with $2.1 million, or 12 cents per share, in the year-ago quarter.

The S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate for the quarter was 27 cents.

The company had a fourth-quarter 2017 net loss of $3.8 million, or a loss of 19 cents per share, compared with a net loss of $2.0 million, or a loss of 12 cents per share, in the prior-year period.

For full year 2017, Upland Software posted non-GAAP net income of $20.4 million, or $1.37 per share, an increase from $4.9 million, or 29 cents per share, in 2016.

The S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate for 2017 was 93 cents.

Full-year 2017 net loss was $18.7 million, or $1.02 per share, compared with a net loss of $13.5 million, or 82 cents per share, in 2016.
