Jernigan Capital prices common stock offering

Jernigan Capital priced an underwritten public offering of 4 million common shares at $18.50 per share.

Net proceeds, after the underwriting discount but before estimated expenses payable by the company, are expected to total about $70.7 million.

The company granted the underwriters a 30-day option to buy up to an additional 600,000 shares.

The offering, subject to customary closing conditions, is expected to close June 14.

Jernigan Capital intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to repay outstanding debt under its credit facility, fund its investment portfolio and cover general corporate purposes.

Raymond James & Associates Inc., Jefferies LLC, KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc. and Robert W. Baird & Co. Inc. are serving as joint book-running managers for the offering.
