Richland, Wash.-based medical technology company IsoRay Inc. said Thomas LaVoy resigned as chairman and CEO.
LaVoy had been a director of the company since 2005. He was appointed board chairman in January 2016 and became CEO on Feb. 15, 2016.
Lori Woods will become the company's CEO on an interim basis. Woods, who joined the company as vice president in July 2006, has more than three decades of experience in medical device technology and healthcare services, serving in numerous senior capacities.
Meanwhile, Mick McCormick has been appointed board chairman. He has been a director of the company since June 2015 and brings over 25 years of experience in senior executive positions in global management, sales and marketing to the company, IsoRay said in a statement.
