NioCorp produces 1st scandium material from Elk Creek project in Nebraska

NioCorp DevelopmentsLtd. has produced the first sample of scandium material from its project in Nebraska.

The sample was produced recently during the ongoing bench testingand optimization program of the company's scandium recovery operations at SGS inLakefield, Ontario, NioCorp said July 13.

According to executive Chairman and CEO Mark Smith, "thismay very well be the first scandium material made from a U.S. domestic in-situ mineralresource in decades."

Smith added that the company is "one step closer" tomaking the project commercially viable.
