Mexico's Findep launches tender offer for 2019 senior notes

Mexico-based Financiera Independencia SAB de CV SOFOM ENR, or Findep,said it launched a cash tender offer for up to $85 million worth of itsoutstanding 7.500% senior notes due 2019.

According to a July 13 statement., holders validly tenderingand not validly withdrawing on July 26 will receive a total consideration of$1,000.00, including a $50.00 early tender payment, for each $1,000 principalamount of notes.

The tender offer expires Aug. 9 unless extended orterminated earlier.

Through the tender offer, the microfinance lender aims toreduce its consolidated net debt and improve its U.S. dollar and Mexican pesodebt profile by moving more of its debt to the peso.

The Mexican SOFOM's Financiera Finsol SA de CV, ApoyoEconómico Familiar SA de CV and Fisofo SA de CV serve as guarantors.
