NCUA issues prohibition notice against former CU CFO

The National Credit Union Administration issued a prohibition notice against Michael LaJoice, former CFO of Clarkston, Mich.-based Clarkston Brandon Community Credit Union.

LaJoice was handed down a jail sentence of seven to 20 years for embezzlement, which is concurrent with another 11-year prison sentence handed down in March.

Clarkston Brandon Community CU was placed into conservatorship in January 2016. Two months later, it merged into East Lansing, Mich.-based Michigan State University FCU.
