Mirvac Group's consortium with John Holland Group Pty. Ltd. secured the rights to develop in partnership with the New South Wales government an A$800 million mixed-use project in Sydney's Waterloo suburb.
The project, which will be integrated into the local metro station, will have residential, office and retail components and community facilities. At least 5% of the residential units intended for the development will be affordable housing, while 70 apartments will be reserved for social housing.
Mirvac will seek a capital partner that will own half of the project's office and components, which it will manage after construction.
