The U.K. Financial Conduct Authority is seeking feedback onwhere it should focus in its review of crowdfunding rules.
The sector has grown quickly since the regulator set outrules in 2014. The FCA wants to explore some concerns raised about developmentsin the market and consider whether the rules are still appropriate.
It is seeking views on issues including whether financialpromotions and due diligence remain appropriate; whether firms should giveconsumers greater detail in disclosures; and how conflicts of interest aremanaged.
It is looking for input by Sept. 8.
