ORIX Capital Partners buys utility services provider

ORIX Capital Partners paid an undisclosed amount to acquire Peak Utility Services Group, which provides maintenance, repair, upgrade and installation services for the telecommunications, electric and natural gas infrastructure markets in the U.S. Pacific Northwest and Intermountain West regions.

Peak CEO Lee Wilkerson will be replaced by utility industry veteran Kristine Schmidt, but will continue in an advisory role at the company.

New York-based ORIX Capital is a unit of financial services firm ORIX Corp. USA. It makes direct-control private equity investments in established middle-market companies across North America.
