NationalAustralia Bank Ltd. experienced a system outage Oct. 10, withcustomers unable to use their bank cards at ATMs or conduct electronic fundtransfers at POS terminals.
Andrew Hagger, chief customer officer of the bank's consumerbanking and wealth division, said in a statement that the outage affected NABmerchant terminals as well as facilities operated by subsidiary HICAPS.
A number of the lender's services have resumed operations,the bank said the same day.
On Oct. 5, the Australian bank had an overnight systemoutage that affected their customer call centers and mobile internet bankingplatforms.
