The Kun-Manie nickel-copper sulfide project could mine 5million tonnes of ore per annum over a 15-year mine life, owner said July 25.
The London-listed junior, which has been developing theproject for at least the past decade, said it planned to produce flotationconcentrate that could be sold to third-party smelters under tollingagreements, or processed in a company-owned smelter.
Amur also confirmed it is aiming to complete its definitivefeasibility study by the end of 2017; in the meantime, it will launch a15,000-meter drill program during the 2016 season in order to gatherinformation and samples needed for the DFS and to further firm up reserves.
Russian authorities granted Amur a production permit last year.
Accordingto the company's full-year 2015 financial statement, Amur had US$9.61 million incash on hand at the end of the year. The company private investors in a private£12.5 million equity placement late last year.
