S.F. Holding Q2 profit climbs 22.2% YOY

S.F. Holding Co. Ltd. said its second-quarter normalized net income came to 24 fen per share, an increase of 20.5% from 20 fen per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 986.9 million yuan, a gain of 22.2% from 807.7 million yuan in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 5.9% from 5.9% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 21.3% year over year to 16.69 billion yuan from 13.76 billion yuan, and total operating expenses grew 21.8% on an annual basis to 15.05 billion yuan from 12.36 billion yuan.

Reported net income increased on an annual basis to 1.11 billion yuan, or 27 fen per share, from 1.08 billion yuan, or 27 fen per share.

As of Aug. 25, US$1 was equivalent to 6.66 yuan.
