France's La Banque Postale SA will launch online bank Ma French Bank in spring 2019, Reuters reported Feb. 27.

The state-owned lender said its online bank will "offer everyone an opportunity to open an account, without condition of resources" through a post office or mobile phone.

La Banque Postale reported full-year 2017 net profit of €764 million, up 10.1% from €694 million.
