Maniker Q3 loss narrows YOY

Maniker Co. Ltd. said its third-quarter normalized net income amounted to a loss of 34.13 South Korean won per share, compared with a loss of 53.74 won per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of 2.40 billion won, compared with a loss of 3.80 billion won in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to negative 3.4% from negative 4.0% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue fell 25.0% on an annual basis to 70.72 billion won from 94.23 billion won, and total operating expenses declined 24.9% from the prior-year period to 73.27 billion won from 97.52 billion won.

Reported net income came to a loss of 3.37 billion won, or a loss of 47.93 won per share, compared to a loss of 5.79 billion won, or a loss of 82.00 won per share, in the year-earlier period.

As of Nov. 16, US$1 was equivalent to 1,172.80 South Korean won.
