Portuguese energy firm Galp to buy 200 MW of solar through agreements

Portuguese integrated energy company Galp Energia SGPS SA entered into power purchase agreements with X-ELIO Energy SL for 200 MW from solar projects currently under development in Spain.

The 12-year PPAs cover a total of 358 GW per year and will be allocated to Galp's commercial activities from June 2020 onward, the company said in an Oct. 7 news release.
