Richard Boath, chairman of 's financial institutionsgroup for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, has left the bank, ThomsonReuters' IFR reported March 29,citing "a person with knowledge of the situation."
Boath has been listed as "inactive" since March 6on the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority's Financial Services Register,according to the report.
Boath, who was one of four people being investigated byBritish authorities in relation with Barclays' £12 billion involving Middle Eastinvestors in 2008, sued the bank in 2015 in a dispute over pay.
A hearing was set for October 2015 but was postponed, IFR reported, adding that the EastLondon Employment Tribunal said the claim was still live.
