Hartford Funds reduces fees for ETFs

Hartford Funds will cut fees on four of its exchange-traded funds effective Jan. 1, 2017.

The fee rate for its Multifactor Developed Markets will go down to 0.39% from 0.50%. The rate for Multifactor Emerging Markets will decrease to 0.59% from 0.65%. The rate for Multifactor U.S. Equity will decline to 0.29% from 0.35%. The Multifactor Global Small Cap rate will go down to 0.55% from 0.60%.

The acquisition of Lattice Strategies LLC has provided the company with cost efficiencies that Hartford Funds can pass on to investors as savings, President James Davey said in a statement.
