BGC Partners names CFO, co-heads of global brokerage

Brokerage and financial technology company BGC Partners Inc. has named Steven Bisgay as CFO, effective Jan. 1, 2020.

Bisgay will replace Sean A. Windeatt, who was interim CFO and who will stay in his role as COO.

Bisgay has been CFO at Cantor Fitzgerald LP since 2015 but will cease to be involved in Cantor's operating businesses, including its investment bank and broker/dealer. He will, however, continue to oversee overlapping functions such as bondholder, lender and rating agency relations.

Also effective Jan. 1, 2020, Anthony Warner and Julian Swain will hold BGC Partner's newly created positions of co-heads of global brokerage, alongside Jean-Pierre Aubin, global head of listed products and Paris.

Warner is responsible for BGC Partner's brokerage business in London and key Middle East locations. Swain is a senior managing director and leads the Europe, the Middle East and Africa business for GFI Group Inc., a division of BGC Partners. Aubin oversees listed products and primary structured products globally for BGC Partners.
