Houseprices in the U.S. ticked up 0.5% in July on a seasonally adjusted,month-over-month basis, the Federal Housing Finance Agency reported, citing itsmonthly house price index.
The previouslyreported 0.2% increase in June was revised upward to reflect an increase of0.3%. Home prices were up 5.8% year over year from July 2015.
Allnine census divisions posted increases from July 2015, with the Pacificdivision logging the largest positive change, up 7.7%. All divisions loggedpositive price movement on a month-over-month basis as well, with the EastSouth Central division posting the largest increase, a rise of 1.0%.
