Private equity firm Business Growth Fund Ltd. and HSBC provided funding to Operam Education Ltd.

Operam, which operates in the education recruitment industry, plans to use the proceeds to finance its purchase of U.K.-based education recruitment agencies Teachers UK and The Education Specialists to expand its regional footprint across the U.K.

Andy McRae, former managing director at Hays PLC and former CEO at Red Commerce Ltd., will join the business as nonexecutive chair.
