Philip Brewer has retired as president and CEO of Hamilton, Bermuda-based equipment lender Textainer Group Holdings Ltd.

Brewer has been with the company since 1996, and began serving as president and CEO in September 2011.

Olivier Ghesquiere, executive vice president of leasing, succeeds Brewer, effective Aug. 13. Ghesquiere will also join the company's board as a class II director. He joined the company in December 2015.
