Centurion Minerals posts initial resource for Ana Sofia property

Centurion Minerals Ltd. completed an initial resource estimate for its Ana Sofia agricultural-gypsum property in Argentina.

Ana Sofia hosts inferred resources of 1.47 million tonnes grading an average 94.1% gypsum using an 85% cutoff grade, according to an Oct. 31 statement.

The estimate comprises two layers of gypsum and incorporates exploration and test pitting completed by the company along with joint venture partner Demetra Minerals Inc.

Centurion Minerals noted that mineralization remains open in several directions, and several high-purity gypsum layers were identified within Ana Sofia's second mining concession located approximately 400 meters to the southwest of the initial resource.
