Domy fiscal Q3 profit climbs 12.7% YOY

Domy Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Feb. 28 came to ¥14.32 per share, an increase of 12.8% from ¥12.70 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥38.8 million, a gain of 12.7% from ¥34.4 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 0.4% from 0.4% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue increased on an annual basis to ¥8.64 billion from ¥8.49 billion, and total operating expenses grew year over year to ¥8.59 billion from ¥8.43 billion.

Reported net income came to ¥35.0 million, or ¥12.93 per share, compared to a loss of ¥10.0 million, or a loss of ¥3.69 per share, in the prior-year period.
