M.K. Koo stepped down as chairman of Chinese real estate company Nam Tai Property Inc. July 27, and will be replaced by CEO Ying Chi Kwok.

The company also added Hao Xu to its board, effective Aug. 1.

Koo will remain with the company as a consultant for the remainder of the year, according to a filing.
