Anchor BanCorp Wisconsin shareholders approve Old National deal

Shareholders of Madison, Wis.-based Anchor BanCorp Wisconsin Inc. approved the company's proposedsale to Old National Bancorp.

The company said in an April 29 press release that its shareholdershad voted in favor of the merger at its special meeting of stockholders. The companiesexpect the deal to close May 1.

Old National announced in January that it had agreed to acquireAnchor in a dealvalued at about $461.3 million as of the announcement.
