KNT-CT Holdings Q3 profit climbs 7.0% YOY

KNT-CT Holdings Co. Ltd. said its third-quarter normalized net income came to ¥39.21 per share, an increase of 5.6% from ¥37.15 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥1.07 billion, an increase of 7.0% from ¥1.00 billion in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 0.9% from 0.9% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue declined year over year to ¥113.38 billion from ¥114.91 billion, and total operating expenses declined on an annual basis to ¥111.70 billion from ¥113.50 billion.

Reported net income increased 52.5% year over year to ¥1.23 billion, or ¥44.90 per share, from ¥806.0 million, or ¥29.85 per share.
