As expected, Telefónica SA launched a multiroom Wi-Fi decoder thatenables its Movistar+ subscribers to watch video across the home without cableconnections.

Among the new device's features are the ability to stream1080p video at 60 frames per second, and simultaneous viewing of two programson different screens, Telecompaper reported July 19.

The Spanishoperator will charge a €50 one-off fee for the STB, which works with the HomeGateway Unit rolled out in 2015, according to the report.
