OM2 Network Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended July 31 amounted to ¥30.44 per share, a gain of 46.9% from ¥20.72 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥207.5 million, an increase of 46.9% from ¥141.3 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 2.4% from 1.7% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew year over year to ¥8.80 billion from ¥8.41 billion, and total operating expenses climbed from the prior-year period to ¥8.49 billion from ¥8.21 billion.
Reported net income rose 62.4% year over year to ¥177.0 million, or ¥25.97 per share, from ¥109.0 million, or ¥15.99 per share.
As of Sept. 10, US$1 was equivalent to ¥106.65.
