JPMorgan names wealth management, investment solutions co-heads

At JPMorgan Chase& Co., a newly created wealth management and investment solutionsunit will be co-led by Barry Sommers and Brian Carlin, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing internal memos.

Sommers' specific title will be CEO of wealth management, overseeingChase Wealth Management and J.P. Morgan Securities. He was previously consumer bankinghead, in which role he will be succeeded by Thasunda Duckett. Duckett's replacementas head of the auto finance division, meanwhile, has yet to be named.

Carlin's title will be that of investment and banking solutionsCEO, overseeing digital and institutional wealth management. He was previously thegroup's CFO.
