Mexican Gold estimates 304,000 gold equivalent ounces at Las Minas

Mexican Gold Corp. said Aug. 1 that the maiden measured and indicated resource for the El Dorado/Juan Bran and Santa Cruz zones of the Las Minas gold project in Mexico totals 304,000 gold equivalent ounces contained in 4.97 million tonnes grading 1.9 g/t gold equivalent.

Total inferred resource is estimated at 719,000 gold equivalent ounces contained in 10.3 million tonnes grading 2.17 g/t gold equivalent.

The initial mineral resource is based on 4,247 assays from 140 diamond drillholes of 19,636 meters drilled.

Additional drilling is scheduled to expand the initial resource estimate for both the El Dorado/Juan Bran and Santa Cruz zones and to test other high-priority targets.
