Premier Synthetics fiscal Q2 profit climbs 10.5% YOY

4915238 said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 amounted to 4 Indian paise per share, an increase of 16.7% from 4 paise per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 151,880 rupees, an increase of 10.5% from 137,500 rupees in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 0.5% from 0.4% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue decreased 10.2% on an annual basis to 31.3 million rupees from 34.8 million rupees, and total operating expenses fell on an annual basis to 31.3 million rupees from 32.2 million rupees.
