HSBC HoldingsPlc's HSBC Bank MaltaPlc on June 14 set out its new management team under CEO AndrewBeane.
The bank said it had named nine new executive committee memberssince November 2015. The committee now includes Beane; COO Nikolaos Fertakis;CFO Rashid Daurov; Chief Risk Officer Joyce Grech; Daniel Robinson, head ofretail banking and wealth management; Michel Cordina, head of commercialbanking; and Irina Seylanyan, head of global banking and markets.
Fertakis was previously COO of HSBC's Greek business, whileRobinson was previously in charge of a customer service transformation programin the U.K. Seylanyan is a former deputy CEO of HSBC Armenia.
HSBC Bank Malta also named Philip Head to serve as head offinancial crime compliance, a position he formerly held at 's StandardChartered Bank in the U.K. Peter May was named head of financial crime compliancetransformation, having previously served as global head of operational risk forHSBC's London-based trade and receivables finance business.
Head and May are also executive committee members.
