China Resources Land Ltd. spent an estimated 8.16 billion yuan in July to purchase five land parcels in China.
In a filing, the company said the land plots were in the Chinese cities of Nanjing, Harbin, Changsha, Changchun and Beijing, and have a collective gross floor area of about 812,568 square meters.
China Resources and its subsidiaries have spent a total 34.81 billion yuan to acquire 27 land parcels, year-to-July, with a combined gross floor area of about 5,100,450 square meters.
As of Aug. 4, US$1 was equivalent to 6.72 Chinese yuan.
