Fu Burg Industrial Q3 profit climbs 16.4% YOY

Fu Burg Industrial Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the third quarter amounted to 29 Taiwan cents per share, an increase of 16.4% from 25 cents per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$12.6 million, an increase of 16.4% from NT$10.8 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin increased to 3.9% from 3.3% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue declined year over year to NT$318.2 million from NT$323.9 million, and total operating expenses declined on an annual basis to NT$303.9 million from NT$307.3 million.

Reported net income fell 41.4% from the prior-year period to NT$6.0 million, or 14 cents per share, from NT$10.2 million, or 24 cents per share.
