Software-as-a-service provider Invoice Cloud Inc. entered a strategic partnership with General Atlantic under which the private equity firm will become Invoice's majority shareholder.

General Atlantic will invest in Invoice alongside existing shareholders Summit Partners and Invoice management.

Invoice provides vertical software, billing and payment services. General Atlantic invests in the consumer, financial services, healthcare and technology sectors, while Summit Partners is an alternative investment firm investing in growth sectors.
