PandoraMedia Inc. climbed to the top of the list of new media companieswith the biggest gains in short interest in the first half of April.
According to SNL Kagan data, the Oakland, Calif.-basedstreaming music service's short interest grew 466 basis points between March 31and April 15 to 21.91% of outstanding shares.
Turning to the short interest decliners, took the lead,its short interest position dropping 137 basis points to 19.87% of outstandingshares.
WayfairInc. heldits position as the most heavily shorted new media stock, with short intereston 26.89% of outstanding shares as of April 15.
