Microsoft Corp.-owned LinkedIn Corp. is establishing a new European headquarter campus in Dublin, Ireland, after it signed a deal with Irish property Iput to pre-let about 40,000 square meters of office space, The Irish Times reports.
Under the agreement, Two, Three and Four Wilton Park will be pre-let to the tech company for a 25-year lease with a term certain of 12 years. The three office blocks will start construction this year and is set to be completed in 2023. Meanwhile, the development of One Wilton Park, a block of about 14,000 square meters fully pre-let to LinkedIn in 2018, is set to be completed by the end of 2020.
The move allows LinkedIn to increase its workforce by more than 4,000 workers in the long term, according to the report. This comes after the tech company revealed plans last year to add about 800 workers to its Dublin headquarters.
