Guggenheim Partners sells commercial aviation division

GuggenheimPartners LLC has sold Guggenheim Aviation Partners to thecommercial aircraft investment and management business' management team.

Guggenheim Aviation Partners has completed over $8 billionin commercial aircraft transactions since 2003. It has more than 200 commercialaircraft, and has leased aircraft to more than 40 domestic and internationalairlines and cargo operators.

The newly independent entity, which will operate under thename Altavair, plans to raise additional permanent capital.
