Poland'sdeputy prime minister, Mateusz Morawiecki, was appointed the country's newminister of finance, replacing Pawel Szalamacha.

Morawieckiwill also continue to serve as the development minister, a post he has held sinceNovember 2015, but the two ministries will continue to work separately, Rzeczpospolita said Sept. 28.
