Cleveland MiningCo. Ltd. said April 4 that it started a reverse circulation drillingprogram at the Lavragold project in Brazil to potentially define an exploration target of between 9,000ounces and 33,000 ounces.
Drilling will be conducted to a depth of 20 meters, with thetarget zone commencing at 5 meters deep.
The company said the target area, located between the two trialpits as defined by current resources, has potential to add revenue to the projectif extensions to the high-grade gold from the two adjacent areas can be confirmed.
The project is part of the Cleveland Premier joint venture, wheremining is set to commence upon the granting of a license.
An inferred resource of 134,000 tonnes at 11.14 g/t of gold for48,000 ounces of gold has been defined at Lavra.
