Japan Securities Finance completes share repurchase

Japan Securities Finance Co. Ltd. completed a share repurchase program after it bought back the planned number of shares.

The company said Feb. 27 that it repurchased a total of 1.5 million shares for about ¥891 million.

Under the program, announced in May 2017, the company sought to buy back up to 1.5 million shares for up to ¥1 billion between May 12, 2017, and March 16, 2018.

As of Feb. 27, US$1 was equivalent to ¥107.45.
