Papua Mining PLC secured shareholder approval to change its name to Rockfire Resources PLC, it said June 18.

The copper and gold exploration company will provide further updates when the change becomes effective on London's AIM.

In March, Papua Mining was granted a five-year exploration permit for its Monarch tenement in Queensland, Australia.
