Bloomfield Hills Financial completes acquisition of Mass.-based wealth manager

Bloomfield Hills Financial Inc. completed its acquisition of Thomson Financial Management, a Northampton, Mass.-based wealth manager with approximately $105 million in advisory and brokerage assets.

Thomson Financial Management will continue to operate under the same brand.

Bloomfield Hills Financial also hired Nicholas Cantrell to lead its Massachusetts location. It is a Michigan-based independent financial planning and wealth management advisory firm offering securities brokerage and investment advisory services.

Cetera Financial Group Inc. and Cetera network firm First Allied Securities Inc. provided facilitation services and funding for the transaction.
