Millennial Lithium Corp. on Dec. 20 said it secured an additional 300 hectares of core salar mining rights at Pastos Grandes lithium project in Argentina, increasing its holdings in the area to 6,361 hectares.
The company, through its Argentine subsidiary Proyecto Pastos Grandes SA, acquired the mining rights to the property, which is named Papadopolous XXXII.
Meanwhile, Millennial noted that its joint venture partner, Southern Lithium Corp., advanced US$500,000 to a joint exploration account in anticipation of drill testing at the Cruz project in early 2017.
Millennial plans to consolidate the recently acquired claims and other recent acquisitions into its exploration and development plans once an initial environmental report is submitted and accepted.
