Modern Land issues US$150M of senior notes to join October US$350M bond issuance

Modern Land (China) Co. Ltd. issued US$150.0 million worth of 6.875% senior notes due 2019, which will be consolidated to form a single series with its previous issuance of green bonds worth US$350.0 million in October.

The latest senior notes issued by the company will be offered at a price reflecting 98.193% of the principle amount of the notes, with accrued interest from Oct. 20, 2016, to Jan. 6, 2017, excluding the latter date.

The notes will be listed on Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Ltd.'s official list, just as the bonds from the first issuance are, and the company gained approval from the stock exchange listing and quotation of the new bonds.

Guotai Junan Securities (Hong Kong) Ltd. serves as the sole global coordinator, joint lead manager and joint book runner for the offering, while Zhongtai International Securities Ltd. is a joint lead manager and joint book runner for the issuance.
