Standard Insurance names compliance, ethics officer

Standard Insurance Co. has named Deanna Laidler second vice president and compliance and ethics officer.

Laidler will lead the company's insurance, retirement, individual annuities and broker/dealer compliance teams and will be responsible for the corporate compliance program, which includes business conduct, ethics and corporate policy governance.

Laidler most recently was senior assistant attorney general for the Oregon Department of Justice.
