QBE Insurance Group Ltd. appointed Pat Regan CEO for Australian and New Zealand operations, effective March 1, 2017.

Regan, who is currently serving as group CFO, has been working as acting CEO for Australian and New Zealand operations since August. He will continue to perform his duties as CFO until the end of February 2017, according to a Dec. 12 release.

Victor Walter will assume the role of acting group CFO from March 1, 2017, until Regan's permanent replacement is appointed. Walter is currently CFO for the group's Australian and New Zealand operations.
