BofA appoints Pittsburgh market prez; Midland States Bank names director

* William Hribovsek, regional president of Southern Bank, will retire from the Poplar Bluff, Mo.-based bank and parent Southern Missouri Bancorp Inc., effective Feb. 2, 2018.

He has served as regional president of the bank's east region since Jan. 23, and previously was the chief lending officer for the company and the bank.

* Midland States Bank appointed R. Dean Bingham to its board, the (Freeport, Ill.) Journal Standard reported.

Bingham serves as president and COO of Agracel, Inc.

The Effingham, Ill.-based bank is a unit of Midland States Bancorp Inc.

* Bank of America Corp. named Brian Ludwick president of its Pittsburgh market, the Pittsburgh Business Times reported.

Ludwick is also Merrill Lynch's market executive for western Pennsylvania. He joined Merrill Lynch in 2000.
