Dr.Wu Skincare Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fourth quarter came to NT$1.64 per share, a decrease of 12.5% from NT$1.87 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$69.3 million, a decline of 14.9% from NT$81.4 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin declined to 24.3% from 34.5% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose 21.2% year over year to NT$285.9 million from NT$236.0 million, and total operating expenses increased 19.6% year over year to NT$174.5 million from NT$145.9 million.
Reported net income decreased 14.3% year over year to NT$91.7 million, or NT$2.16 per share, from NT$107.0 million, or NT$2.46 per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled NT$4.07 per share, a fall of 7.7% from NT$4.41 per share in the prior year.
Normalized net income was NT$172.2 million, a decline of 5.9% from NT$182.9 million in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue grew 30.5% year over year to NT$865.2 million from NT$662.8 million, and total operating expenses increased 45.1% on an annual basis to NT$600.2 million from NT$413.6 million.
The company said reported net income declined year over year to NT$228.5 million, or NT$5.40 per share, in the full year, from NT$239.3 million, or NT$5.77 per share.
