U.S.-listed aluminum products developer Constellium NV said May 17 that it is expanding its operations in Decin, Czech Republic, to accommodate growing demand from its customers.
The project, which is expected to be completed by October 2019, includes constructing a new casthouse and extrusion press and boosting the plant's recycling capacity.
Constellium expanded its operations in Decin in 2015 to increase the production of hard alloy extrusions. The company's Decin workforce stands at 800, and the expansion is expected to generate about 90 new jobs by the end of 2019.
